While others are making New Year Resolutions, make Life Resolutions. Of course, you'll have to breakdown your life goals into perennial, annual, monthly, biweekly, weekly, daily or even hourly plans. But the truth remains that you can only make those plans with a full picture of an " end " in mind. Seeing and knowing where you are headed determines the route you'll take to get there. Where you see yourself or aspire to be a few years to come, will influence and guide the decision you make and the actions you take in the present. A great future is possible but it doesn't happen overnight. You can have a balanced life.  Start now - sow those seeds now!
